Chairman’s Message

Welcome to the Web Site of the Mary Wakefield Westmorland Festival.

This music festival is held every other year, (the next is planned for March 2009), runs for approximately 1 week and includes concerts, workshop days for children in both primary and secondary schools and adjudicated classes for instrumentalists, singers and choirs.

We aim to publish and distribute a prospectus for the Adjudicated Classes over the summer and this time those interested in participating in these classes will be able to download the necessary application forms from this site should they find this more convenient. Early next year we will be publishing and distributing our programme of the week’s events and we hope that much of the information in this document will also be accessible from this site.
